Join Lace Up Detroit in providing new shoes to 750+ students at Legacy Charter Academy on their Count Day. Volunteers will help set up and run a "shoe store" in the school gym, partnering with students to help them select shoes they love. This is a meaningful way to support children in need - 98% of students qualify for free lunch. You can volunteer for the full day or just part of it.
About Lace Up Detroit: A charity providing new shoes and socks to children and women in need. $25 provides a complete shoe and sock set for one child.
